"Many people take a dim view of the real estate agent model. i.e. do I really need one? how hard is it anyway? Working with Jonathan and his team at Revolution though will disabuse you of this notion pretty quick, particularly in a crazy housing market like central Toronto where every event has plenty of hidden subtext. From getting us into see properties before they were listed and detailed neighbourhood analysis through to psychological profiles of the bargaining actors and the nuances of housing infrastructure, Jonathan may be a mile wide but he's got the depth you need to inform a 360 view of a transaction. By the time it was all said and done and we had closed on our house in a multi bidder situation (after having seen at least a dozen other properties we deliberated over), I could see that if we ran the counterfactuals we wouldn't have pulled it off without Jonathan's involvement.
