Jonathan Schwarz, operating as part of Johnson and Daniel, a division of Royal LePage Real Estate Services Ltd., Brokerage ("we", "our", or "us"), respects the privacy of our clients and is committed to keeping your personal information accurate, confidential, secure, and private. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and disclose personal information in the course of providing real estate services.
"Personal Information" means information about an identifiable individual. This may include your name, home address, contact details, financial information, credit history, property details, and other information relevant to real estate transactions. Business contact information is also personal information; however, consent is not required to collect, use, or disclose this information for the purpose of communicating with an individual in their business capacity.
This Privacy Policy is based on Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act ("PIPEDA"), which incorporates the Ten Privacy Principles outlined in the National Standard of Canada entitled Model Code for the Protection of Personal Information (CAN/CSA-Q830). 2. The Ten Principles of Privacy
Principle 1, Accountability. We are accountable for all Personal Information in our possession or control, including Personal Information transferred to third parties for processing. We have designated a Privacy Officer responsible for compliance with this policy.

Principle 5, Limiting Use, Disclosure, and Retention. The Kind of Information We Collect

- When required by law: Including tax and financial reporting obligations, or where required by court order.
- When permitted by law: Certain circumstances allow disclosure without consent, such as debt collection, medical emergencies, or suspected illegal activities.
With Whom We May Share Your Information
- Real estate brokers, agents, and employees: Access is limited to those with a legitimate reason to use Personal Information.
- Real estate boards and associations: For MLS listing operations, including access by other REALTORS® in Canada and internationally.
- Third-party suppliers and service providers: Provided with only the information necessary to provide contracted services and bound to protect confidentiality.
- Service providers outside Canada: Where applicable, Personal Information may be processed in jurisdictions with different legal protections.
- Sale of business: Disclosure may occur to transaction counterparties and advisors in connection with a sale, merger, or other business disposition, subject to confidentiality obligations.
How We Safeguard Information
We employ organizational, technical, and physical controls designed to maintain the security of information and information systems. Files containing Personal Information are stored according to their sensitivity. Appropriate controls are placed on computer systems and data processing procedures, and physical access to areas where Personal Information is gathered, processed, or stored is limited to authorized individuals.
