Teddington Park

One of Toronto’s smallest, most exclusive districts

Teddington Park is one of the smallest and most exclusive neighbourhoods in Toronto. Bordered by Yonge Street to the west and Bayview Avenue to the east, it runs from Snowden Road in the south to north of Glen Echo Road and the Rosedale Golf Club.

The area was farmland until the 1930s, when it developed as a residential enclave for the city’s professional class. Today its quiet, curving streets hold a limited stock of substantial homes, many backing directly onto the fairways of the Rosedale Golf Club or the wooded slopes of the Riverview Drive ravine.

The Market: Because the neighbourhood is small and tightly held, homes rarely come to market. When they do, buyers are competing for a finite inventory of estate-calibre properties in one of North Toronto’s most protected settings.
